Reset everything to what it was before you renamed everything and stuff. If I haven't said thank you lately (((THANKS))) I will try deleting the shortcuts from my steam games and launching from NVSE from the NMM. What do I do about the short cuts in the Steam games? So far steam has not allowed me to add new game (nvse_launcher.exe) when I do it adds a shortcut. Rename everything to it's original name, start Nexus Mod Manager and launch SKSE or NVSE over Nexus Mod Manager. I also got a Mod Master badge last night for running 20 mods. I have a bad memory and 6 months from now if the need arrises to troubleshoot I will have forgotton I renamed the vanilla launchers and i'll spend 1/2 a day looking. I think I am down to LazyGrizzly's suggestion renaming the launchers to trick Steam. Game seems to launch fine but i have not played enough to see if the timer or achievements are working.įor the two Fallout games Steam put shortcuts back in with no icons for both even though I followed the path to the SE launcher.exeĪgain I have not tested to see if I am running the script extender or original game. Steam accepted the Skyrim (SKSE) but deleted the icon I had installed per Gopher's instructions.
Hit Add new game and found the SKSE launcher.exe NVSE Launcher.exe and FOSE Launcher.exe
I launched Steam and deleted the 3 short cuts for Skyrim/FO3/NV. While it was 9pm for gopher it was only 1pm in the afternoon for me. I wanted to watch the twitch pod cast and I had to mow the yard. So I am just now getting back to this troubleshooting.
